2007 AAU KARATE ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP

The fourth annual scholarship was presented to two very deserving AAU Karate athletes during the AAU Karate National Championships Opening Ceremonies on Wednesday, June 27th at Lawrence Joel Veteran's Memorial Annex building in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

AAU Karate Scholarships are awarded annually to a young man and a young woman who have participated in AAU Karate for a minimum of four years and excel in all they do.

The female recipient for the scholarship was Elizabeth Green of Williams Martial Arts from Cincinnati, Ohio. Elizabeth studies under Sensei David Williams.

The male recipient for the scholarship was Joseph Taura of TKO Lake Zurich from Lake Zurich, Illinois. Joseph studies under Sensei Linda Donner.
