On Saturday, April 7, 2018 Mr. J. B. Mirza, our own AAU Karate National Chairman was awarded The 2018 Chicagoland Martial Arts Award. This award was given on behalf of State Representative Al Riley and Dr. Cynthia Thompson.
Mr. Mirza was selected among a large and diverse group of individuals and the award was presented by State Representative Al Riley himself.
This Chicagoland Martial Arts award is given in recognition and acknowledgment of those individuals who have contributed to the overall success of the Martial Arts in the Chicagoland area. It is also presented to those who have distinguished themselves through exceptional commitment, leadership, mentoring, and support of Martial Arts in the nation and community.
We cannot think of a more fitting recipient of this award and congratulate Mr. Mirza wholeheartedly.
